I am eternally grateful for this gym. It gave me an understanding of exercise movements, yes. But what it really gave me was a way to understand how I can incorporate movement into my life forever. It gave me an attitude. One where movement isn’t optional, and anything is possible with good support and guidance.

  Personally, I’m not a good solo gym person - I need motivation and accountability. The coaches I’ve met are all super helpful and encouraging as are the other people you’re working out with. You can tell the coaches enjoy what they do and are serious about helping you get better and master different techniques, etc. The workouts are definitely challenging but it’s a good time!

My biggest struggle before joining RVAPT was not being able to move well - I felt like I was in a fog, and that anything I did exercise-wise didn't help. I used to have a lot of knee trouble - I couldn't go up a flight of stairs or squat without tremendous pain. After joining and going to some PT, I can move pain free. RVAPT helped build my confidence along with my strength.
